Jessie Lee Manis - Pocahontas

Jessie Lee Manis, 76, of Pocahontas died Monday, April 5, 2004, at his residence.

Born in Pocahontas, he owned and operated a service station there.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Manis of the home; a son, John Manis of Bentonville; two daughters, Jackie Gilless and Debbie Dollahite, both of Pocahontas; two sisters, Nancy Friend of Lebanon, Ill., and Grace Jones of Monette; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herval Jessie Manis and Vedis Swinney Manis, and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Larry Brinkley officiated. Burial was in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
