Velva Cleveland - Manila

Velva Cleveland, 79, of Manila died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at Manila Nursing Center. Born in Kennett, she had worked as a cook and waitress and was of the Protestant belief.

Survivors include a brother, Stirl Thomas, of Caraway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Minnie Nelson Jones.

A graveside service was held at 3:30 p.m. at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.
