Faye "Toon" Ellen Parish, 70, of Linwood, Kansas, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
A former resident of Lake City, she had worked for Moore Rubber Co. in Bonner Springs, Kansas, and Mason's Greenhouse in Linwood.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer J. Parish Sr. of the home; a son, Russell Wayne Bowden of Leavenworth, Kansas; three daughters, Sandra Gayle Carter of San Diego and Ronda Dianne Laminack and Kimberly Fawn Heatherman, both of Topeka, Kansas; two stepsons, E. Jefferson Parish of Eudora, Kansas and Keith A. Parish of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Shirley Hall of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Christy Lynn Bowden, Jana Rae Scott, Jefferson Loren Scott, Jacob Michael Scott, Jenae Yvonne Ellen Chappuis and Trae William Johnson; and six step-grandchildren, Brandon Parish, Daniel Parish, Travis Parish, Jessica Parish, Kayla Heathman and Tyler Heathman.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and by a sister.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lower Cane Island Cemetery with Rev. Larry Owens officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
