Erma Cleo Smithwick - Leachville

Erma Cleo Smithwick, 91, of Leachville, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at Monette Manor nursing home. Born at Senath, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lomay Gregory Wilson and had been a Leachville resident for the past 20 years.

Survivors include four brothers, Herbert Wilson of Leachville, Harvey Wilson of West Plains, Mo., Hershel Wilson of St. Louis, and Hubert Wilson of Farmington, Mo.; three sisters, Edith Butler of Hermitage, Mo., Josie Carter of Troy, Mo., and Brenda Morris of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Rupert Metcalf and Alfred Smithwick.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with F.L. McHaney officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery at Paragould.
