Dorothy Lee Phillips - Paragould

Dorothy Lee Phillips, 68, of Paragould, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at her residence. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Newt and Dixie Ethel Evans and had been a Paragould resident since 1988. She was a former long time Florida resident and was a retired electronics technician with Motorola Corp. Mrs. Phillips was a member of 10th Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paragould.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Phillips of the home; two daughters, Sandra Morrow of Mt. Nebo, West Virginia and Rhonda Gail Quintana of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Leonard Earl Evans of Greenfield, Ind.; two sisters, Martha Jean Stillwell and Linda Wilmuth, both of Manila; two grandchildren, Misty Bishop and Jack Quintana and one great-grandchild, Joseph Tyler Bishop.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Fred Jones officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors this evening (Tuesday) from 6-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
