Leachville recipient of CenturyTel donation

Leachville Mayor Ralph Wells accepted $1,000 from CenturyTel's area operations manager Skip Layne.

"We appreciate Mayor Wells and the city of Leachville," Layne said. "We like to give back to the area we serve. CenturyTel wants to be a part of the community we serve."

Layne said he stands willing to help in any way he can on Buffalo Island.

Mayor Wells thanked Layne and the company on behalf of Leachville.

"We appreciate CenturyTel. I think they are doing an excellent job in our communities," Wells said. "We are also fortunate to have Skip as operations manager."

Wells said the donation will be used on the park project to benefit all of the community.
