Carl Eugene Prince - Marmaduke

Carl Eugene Prince, 57, of Marmaduke, formerly of Manila, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2003, at his home. Born at the Little River community near Manila, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruby Mae Martin Prince and was a retired farmer and ginner and was a member of the Marmaduke Church of Christ.

He is survived by three brothers, William Prince of Hartford, Mich., Eulis Edward Prince of Etowah, and Bobby Ray Prince of Manila; four sisters, Thelma Gillihan of Mt. View, Pearl Bryant of Oak Harbor, Wash., Shirley Harrell of Cove, Oregon, and Wanda Lee Wilcoxon of Port Orchard, Wash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Mae Prince and two brothers, James Harrison Prince and Paul Dean Prince.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Mr. Arvil Hill officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eric Barber, Doyle Gillihan, Jason Smith, Dennis Gillihan, Allie Carpenter, Leon Harrell and Mike Carleton.
