Manila girls even conference record

Manila improved to 1-1 in conference play with a 59-43 win over Trumann on Thursday. The Lady Lions trailed 12-8 after one and 22-20 at the half. The Lady Lions roared back on the third to take a 43-32 advantage before getting the win.

Michelle Eubanks led Manila with 29 followed by Natalie Tippy with 18. Other scoring were Amanda Henson eight; Deborah White two and Ashley Girdley two.

The Junior Lady Lions improved to 2-0 in conference play with a 36-25 win over Trumann. Rachel Cheadle led MJHS with 13 points. Others scoring were Michelle Daniel seven; Katie Veach four; Kari Rameriz four; Kirsty Burnett three; Annette Hiser three; and Christin Chipman two.

Manila vs Rivercrest

Manila fell to Rivercrest 63-39 on Monday. Deborah White led MHS with 14 points. Others scoring were Natalie Tippy seven; Michelle Eubanks six; Amanda Henson six; Ashley Girdley four and Julie Dawson two.

Junior High

Rachel Cheadle and Michelle Daniel scored 12 points each to lead MJHS over Rivercrest 46-29. Others scoring were Katie Veach seven; Annette Hiser seven; Rocio Bedollo three; Heather Dozhier three, Kari Rameriz two.
