Alma Christeen Swink - Jonesboro

Alma Christeen Swink, 87, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Lake City and lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Smith of Jonesboro and Tommy Smith of Portland, Oregon; three brothers, Jerry Stephens of Jonesboro, Jack Stephens of Lake City and Verlin Stephens of Phoenix; a sister, Marlene Harrison of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bulah Stephens, two sisters and one brother.

A graveside service was held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
