Dub Harrison, 79, of Monette, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a retired truck driver, affiliated with the Monette Assembly of God Church, and had lived in Monette most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Iva Jo Harrison of the home; a sister, Betty Ingram of West Memphis; two sons, David Harrison of California and Doyle Harrison of Springdale; two daughters, Carolyn Parrish of Monette and Barbara Buttram of Springdale; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Leonard and Mary Harrison, and three brothers, Chester Harrison, Talmadge Harrison and James Gaither.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Terry Miller officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were W.T. Bibb, Steve Harvey, Wayland McClelland, Terry Harvey, Corey Harrison and Billy Ray Tilley.
