Klayton Seyler wins Big Lake 2003 club championship

Big Lake Country Club held its Club Championship Tournament Sept. 20-21 finishing on Sunday in spite of the rain.

Klayton Seyler is the new club champion for the year 2003. This year's tournament was a two-day thirty-six hole stroke play event.

Klayton is the 16 year old and the yougnest member ever to win the club championship title.

Klayton and his parents, Dennis and Candy Seyler, moved to Jonesboro this past summer. He is playing very competitively as a junior on the Jonesboro High School team.

Jeremy Murray was second and Terry Brewer third in the Championship Flight.

The A Flight was won by Jeff Daley with Chad Costner second and Neil Abel third.

The B Flight was won by Jay Gee with Vance Mace finishing second and Kenny Guthrie third.

Buddy Duncan won first in the Senior Flight. Bob White took first place in the Super Senior Flight.
