Rev. Perry Michael Henderson - Trumann

Rev. Perry Michael "Mike" Henderson, 46, of Trumann died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at UAMS Medical Center at Little rock. Born in Bastrop, La., he lived in Trumann for the past six years. A graduate of Williams Baptist College, he received a master of divinity degree form Mid-America Baptist theological Seminary and a bachelor of arts degree form Ouachita Baptist University. He was the pastor of Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann. He has previously served as music and youth minister at the 42nd Street Baptist Church at North Little Rock and the First Baptist Church at Marion, and as pastor of the Whitton Baptist Church of Whitton and Second Baptist Church of Leachville.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Millikin Henderson of the home; two daughters, Laura Beth and Julie Kathryn Henderson, both of the home; a son, Michael Scott Henderson of the home; his mother, Peggy Henderson of Bryant; two sisters, Sabrina Smith and Anna Beth Mansfield, both of Bryant; and a brother, Scott Wilton Henderson.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the First Baptist Church in Trumann, with the Revs. Gary Fulton, Larry White and Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park at Marion under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Jeff Witlatch, Brad Parrish, Randy Rose, Tommy Eldried, Rodney Wright and Lowell Coffman, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will include the deacons of Maple Grove Baptist Church.
