Alma Ruth Ashabranner, 72, of Senath, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born in Blytheville, she was a retired nurse and homemaker. She was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ashabranner of the home; a son, Gaylon Ashabranner of Paragould; five brothers, Otis Wooldridge of Jonesboro, Bob and Gary Don Wooldridge of Oklahoma City, Okla., Hershell Wooldridge of Jefferson, Texas, and Sterling Wooldridge of Paragould; and five sisters, Joy Riggs of Starkville, Miss., Melba Akers of Blytheville, Jane Farith of Ogden, Utah, Carolyn Gilliam and Becky Simmons, both of Blytheville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.O. and Iantha Wooldridge, and two sisters.
The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mitchell Funeral Home with Tim Wooldridge officiating. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Richard Wooldridge, Neal Wooldridge, Gary Simmons, Bryan Simmons, Allen Simmons and Dale Akers.
