Orlan E. Lee Johnson - Rector

Orlan E. Lee Johnson, 19, of Rector, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Pierce Landing near Hornersville. He was a 2002 graduate of Rector High School and was employed by Black River Contracting of Paragould. He was a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard.

He is survived by his parents, Brian and Tina Johnson, of the home; two sisters, Carrie Johnson and Sara Johnson, both of the home; his grandparents, Hubert Johnson, and Josie Hickerson, both of Leachville, Barbara Rhodes of Jonesboro and Orlan King of Little Rock.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ralph Ryan, Steve Crabtree, Matt Laxton, Davey Laxton, Jack West and Heath Brady.

Honorary pallbearers were D.J. Ward, Buddy Whiteaker and Ray Whiteaker.
