Arthur Jerome Benn - Lake City

Arthur Jerome Benn, 81, of Lake City died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at his home. Born in San Francisco, he lived in Oakland Calif., before moving to Lake City in 1980. He was a retired mail carrier and a World War II veteran of the Coast Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Benn, of the home.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City with Rev. LeRoy Davenport officiating. A private burial was held.
