Jimmy Ray Rich, 39, of Manila died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at his residence. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Jim Rich and had been a lifelong Manila resident. He was a painter and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his mother, Faye Hancock of Manila; a brother, James Rich of Manila; four sisters, Lola Williams and Charlotte Kirby, both of Mayflower, Pam Purser of Somerville, Tenn., and Thelma King of Gosnell.
Services were 10 a.m. Monday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila, Rev. Rudy Burrow officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery.
