Freda Jackson, 75, of Monette died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker, member of Monette First Baptist Church, and had lived in the Monette area most of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton Jackson, of the home; a son, Roger Jackson, of Jonesboro; a daughter, Mary Redding, of Monette; a sister, Avajean Crittendon, of Piggott; three grandchildren, Shawnia, Amber and Catherine, and a great-granddaughter, Allison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Roxie Harrell, a son, Lyndon Jackson, a daughter, Doralene Sowards, a sister and five brothers.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Moentte First Baptist Church with Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial was in the Macey Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Tommy Swetnam, John Crittendon, Ted Finley, Kevin Wimberly, Mike Pinkston, and Russ White.
