Charles Dunlap - Louisville, Ky.

Charles F. "Charlie" Dunlap, 60, of Louisville, Ky., died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville.

A graduate of Lake City High School, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War and had worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad and the National Piggyback Co. in Louisville. He was a former member of the Transportation Club and the Rail Club and was of the Catholic belief.

Survivors include three sons, Chuck Dunlap of Ontario, Canada, and Michael Dunlap and Eric Dunlap, both of Louisville; three daughters, Julia Carty of Newport, R.I., and Cheryl Elizabeth Dunlap and Ann Marie Dunlap, both of Louisville; two sisters, Sarah Sue Crews of Cotton Plant and Linda Heulen of Colonial Heights, Va.; a brother, Bruce Dunlap of Belzoni, Miss.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Eula Dunlap of the Lake City area.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ascension Catholic Church in Louisville.

The body was cremated. Highlands Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
