Joan Towell Reis, 66, of Marshall, Mo., formerly of Leachville, died Friday, March 14, 2003, at St. Lukes Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Born at Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Kathleen Holmes towel and was a retired registered nurse. She had lived in Corpus Christie, Texas, before moving to Marshall, Mo., 15 years ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Reis of Marshall, Mo.; two brothers, Larry towel of Leachville and Carroll Towell of Manila.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with David Lawrence and Raymond Lasley officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Puckett, Ronnie Kennett, Larry Brooks, Bill Crowell, Pete Towell, and Ralph Hunter.
