Glenda Alice Duffel - Leachville

Glenda Alice Duffel, 62, of Leachville, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Blytheville. Born in Dunklin County, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Leamon Pemberton. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Leachville since 1964, and was a member of the Greater Life United Pentecostal Church in Arbyrd.

Survivors include her husband, Junior Duffel of Leachville; her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Dennis Farrar of Senath; her mother, Dorothy Birmingham Pemberton of Clarkton, Mo.; a brother, Harvey Pemberton of Clarkton, Mo.; a sister, Helen Jackson, of Clarkton, Mo.; three grandsons, Barry, Bruce and Bryan, and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Greater Life United Pentecost Church in Arbyrd with Rev. Vernon Purser and Rev. Tony Rhynes officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
