Nola Irene Golden, 92, of Lake City, died Jan. 20, 2003, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Black Oak Assembly of God Church. She had lived in the Buffalo Island area most of her life.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Golden of Mercedes, Texas; six grandchildren, Kyle Golden of Grand Rapids, Mich., Doris Bayman and Tina Wagner of Grand Ledge, Mich., Billy G. Graddy Jr., of Harrisburg, Michael Graddy of Little Rock and Olden (Luke) Graddy of Black Oak; nine great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Golden; a son, Billy G. Graddy, three brothers, a sister and a great-grandson, Kerry Bayman.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge of arrangements.
Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
