Iva Irene Cobb, 94, of Lake City died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Regional Medical Center of NEA in Jonesboro. Born in Lester, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcene Timms of Lake City; 11 grandchildren, Beth Adams, Diane Crews, Tammy Davis, Renee Timms and Steve Timms, all of Lake City, Steve Bowden of Bryant, Janet Mayland of Sherwood, Timothy Warren of Nashville, and Garry Gene Cobb, Charles Wayne Cobb and Joy Deneen Hagar, all of Jonesboro; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Cobb; a son, Max Cobb; three sisters and a brother.
A graveside service was held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jonesboro Memorial Park with David Scott and Leonard Lingenfelter officiating. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Norval Spurlock, Jim Bowman, Ray Ingram, Oliver Armstrong, Charles Hale and Barry Vincent.
The family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the Prairie Missionary Baptist Church in Lake City.
