Lottie Mae Bourland - Manila

Lottie Mae Bourland, 89, of Manila, widow of T.A. Bourland, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born July 26, 1913, in Potts Camp, Miss., she was the daughter of Jessie and Lena Elizabeth Potts Morgan. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Little River Baptist Church in the Lost Cane Community. She enjoyed quilting and was active in her church.

Survivors include three daughters, Marie Priest of Batesville, Wanda Hurst of Hobbs, N.M., and Janice Clark of Jonesboro; two sons, Tommy Bourland of Fairfield, Calif., and Donald Bourland of Nineveh, Ind.; a brother, Hulett Morgan of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Willie Lee Miller.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Little River Baptist Church in the Lost Cane community. Rev. David Rice officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.
