A huge 3-pointer by Lady Mustang Holly Cagle at 0:09 pulled BIC within one of Newark at 38-37. Newark however, would not be denied as three Lady Kangaroo freethrows set the final score.

For BIC Valerie Willyard led in scoring with 13 points. Tara Roach had 10 points, Holly Cagle 8, Sara Walker 3, Rachel Dunigan 2 and Leslie Cobb scored one point. Courtney Magness led Newark with 17 points.

Lady Mustang Coach Mike Kinard said of his Lady Mustangs, "This is a fun team to coach. They played hard and competed well today. They listen to me. They want to do the things that it takes to win and we will be better by the end of the year."
