Emma Jean Langston - Caraway

Emma Jean Langston, 58, of Caraway, died Oct. 16, 2002, at Manila Nursing Center. She was born April 12, 1944, at Caraway. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She had lived in Caraway all of her life.

She is survived by four sons, Clyde Langston of Manila, Meral R. Langston of Caraway, Paul L. Langston of Batesville, and Franklin L. Langston of Bono; a daughter, Flora Boatman of Caraway; three brothers, Perry Ramsey of Hastings, Mich., Winford Ramsey of Vergenes, Ill., and William Charles Ramsey of North Aurora, Ill.; a sister, Zettie Haynes of Lisle, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, Brandon Langston, Nicole Boatman, Amber Langston, Kimberly Langston, Charlie Langston, Tammie Boatman, Brian James Langston, Roger Boatman, Emma Langston, Colby Langston and one step-grandchild, Pete Helms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Armenty Ramsey, two brothers and a sister.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Caraway with Linda Brewer officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
