Lester Ray Sexton - Hartford, Mich.

Lester Ray Sexton, 56, of Hartford, Mich., died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Mountain View. He was a mechanic for Sun Strand Heat Transfer Factory in Dowagiac, Mich. He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Miller Sexton; a son, Leslie Sexton; and a daughter Deborah Gayle Sexton, all of Hartford, Mich.; his mother, Cleo Freeman of Calico Rock; two brothers, Ervin Sexton of Leachville and Troy Sexton of Calico Rock; two sisters, Ester Thomas of Brockwell and Heather Pitts of Calico Rock; grandchildren Kali, Brooklyn and Kira, all of Hartford, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Sexton.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at First Assembly of God Church of Mountain View with Rev. John Busch officiating. Burial was in the Optimus Cemetery at Optimus under the direction of Roller Coffman Funeral Home of Mountain View.

Pallbearers were Tina Mitchell, Jim Mitchell, Homer Langston, Wayne Sexton, Larry Thomas, David Thomas and Jim Corbett.
