Naoma Ruth Gill, 88, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at her home. Born at Hayward, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Alice Ruddle Magers, and was a longtime Dell area resident. She was a graduate of Dell High School, attended Arkansas State College in Jonesboro and taught school in the Dell Public School System. She was the widow of Lester Gill and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dell.
She is survived by two sons, Lester Gill, Jr. of Jonesboro and Robert "Bobby" Gill of Kennett; two sisters, Mamie Griffin of Blytheville and Irene Duncan of Dell; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Dell with Rev. Marilyn Webb officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
