Brenda Kay Clark, 52, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at her residence. A native of Lake City, she had lived in Jonesboro and Texas before moving to Kentucky. She was a homemaker, worked as a legal secretary and attended Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Clark, of the home; a son, Larry Bruce Smith Jr., of Lake City; two stepdaughters, Kelley Coca of Maumelle and Alyssa VanBebber of Memphis; three brothers, John Thomas of Fort Smith, Rick Thomas of Bay and Doug Thomas of Las Cruces, N.M.; three sisters, Barbara Ishmael and Judy Kirchner, both of Nashville, Tenn., and Peggy LaFon of Red Oak, Texas; and two grandchildren, Cannon Smith and Carson Smith.
The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. Bart Barber and the Rev. Scott Miller officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland.
Pallbeaerers were Arlon Woodruff, Jim Robertson, Blake Robertson, Rob Kinkade, David Clark and Gary Kellett.
