Dalton Gene Barber - Jonesboro

Dalton Gene Barber, 55, of Jonesboro died Aug. 6, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Monette, he was a retired mechanic and of the Pentecostal belief. He lived in Jonesboro most of his life.

Survivors include a son, Dalton Gene Barber Jr. of Jonesboro; three daughters, Tammy Ellis, LeAnn Barber and Wanda Barber, all of Jonesboro; three brothers, Harold Barber and Jimmy Barber, both of Jonesboro, and Herman Barber of Hardy; four sisters, JoAnn Sammons, Lora Daniel and Debbie Cobb, all of Jonesboro, and Patricia Forehand of Bay; and three grandchildren,

seven Daniels, Tiffany Daniels and Courtney Daniels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Nelda Barber, and a sister.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel with Capt. Brooks Gillam officiating. Burial was in the Bowman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kevin Barber, Lane Daniel, Donald Maple, David Barber, Paul Davison Jr. and Ricky Tate.
