Wrestling event to benefit Relay for Life

Wrestling will be returning to Manila on Saturday, Aug 10, at the Community Center. The event is a benefit for the Buffalo Island Cancer Relay for Life

Sheila Spurlock, chairman for the Buffalo Island Relay for Life, has asked Ronnie Horner, Jr. of Manila to help with the event.

Horner, in the past has brought in WWE Superstars such as The Mean Street Posse, William Regal, Headbanger Thrasher, Jason Sensation, Molly Holly, former WWE women's champion The Kat and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Horner, now with his own company, MSWA (Mid-South Wrestling Alliance) promises to have a great show just like in the past. Horner promises a show full of excitement and non-stop action with a first time ever in Manila, a Hard Core Thumbtack match. Horner himself will also wrestle at the event.

All seats are $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Children six years old and under are free. Advance tickets can be purchased at T.J.'s Quick Stop in Manila.

All proceeds will go to the Buffalo Island Cancer Relay for Life.

Bell time is 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Horner encourages everyone to come out and support the worthy cause.
