Paul Edward Bandy - Blytheville

Paul Edward Bandy, 82, of Blytheville died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at Regional Medical Center of Northeast Arkansas. Born at Bay, he lived there until moving to Blytheville eight years ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Alsup Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Blocker of Blytheville; two brothers, W.A. Bandy of Bay and Albert Bandy of Leachville; a stepbrother, Jimmy Hillard of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Steve Nichols and Scott Nichols; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora E. and Mary Sanders Bandy; four brothers and two sisters.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. David Craig and Rev. Vernon Troup officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Walter Ashley, Chuck Patrick, Michel Deboard, Dewayne Deboard, Bobby Rich, Jessie Clark, Jerry Williams and Kent Reed.
