Pauline V. Taylor Baker, 83, of Caraway, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was retired from Arkansas Glass Company and was a member of the Caraway Church of God. She had lived in Caraway most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Baker; her parents, Josh and Beddie Taylor; a niece that she raised, Mary Lou Stone; two sisters, Lou Ann Stone and Evelyn Russell; three brothers, Harrison Taylor, Smuel Tee Taylor and Luther Taylor; and a half-brother, Clarence Taylor.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Taylor of Caraway, and two nephews that she raised, Jack Stone of Caraway and James Stone of Moreno Valley, Calif.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette, with Rev. Paul Lawrence and Rev. Carl Dixon officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette. Nephews served as pallbearers.
