Cecil Taylor - Caraway

Cecil Taylor, 90, of Caraway died Friday evening, April 26, 2002, at his residence. He was a retried teacher and farmer and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was of the Church of Christ belief and a member of the American Legion. He had lived in the Bunney area 90 years.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Estelle Taylor.

Survivors include two sisters, Etta Underwood of San Diego, Calif., and Leona Barrett of Flint, Mich.; a brother, Paul "Doodle" Taylor of Caraway; a son, Larry Taylor of Mammouth Spring; a granddaughter, Tasabah Taylor Malone of Paragould and a great-grandson, John Taylor Malone.

Services were 2 p.m. Monday at the Mangrum Church of Christ, John Harvey officiating. Burial was in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Active pallbearers were Randy Couch, Terry Couch, Freddie Couch, DeWayne Couch, Bill Harrell and Robert Harrell.
