Emma Corine Harrell - Monette

Emma Corine Harrell, 75, of Monette died Friday, April 19, 2002, at the Monette Manor Nursing Home. Born at Monette, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mollie Goodman League and had been a long time resident of Monette. She had also lived in Charleston and East Prairie, Mo., and in Hardy for 30 years. She was a member of the Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy and the Cochrum Church of Christ of Monette.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney Joseph "Joe" Harrell of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Clarke of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Peggy Ann Tripp of Oviedo, Fla.; a brother, Winford League of Filmore, Calif.; three sisters, Amy Pratt of Paragould, Betty Whitehead of Colorado Springs, and Naomi League of Hardy; and four granddcughters, Julie Tripp, Tiffany Tripp, Crystal Wells and Amanda Clarke.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service chapel in Leachville with Mr. Eddie Dunigan and Mr. Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Macey Cemetery near Monette.

Active pallbearers were David Harrell, Dusty Harrell, Roy Glenn Harrell, Jodie Brown, Allen Dewitt, Ralph Loftine.
