The Manila Business Women gave $250 and the Depot Committee gave $500.
Lion Club President Terry Carr thanked the women for their support.
Carr said the estimated cost of the project is $12,000. He said the restrooms will be handicapped accessible.
He praised the community businesses, organizations, and community for the support they have shown toward this project.
Representing the clubs were Business Women President Janella Caraway and Vice President Calvnita Halfacre and the Depot Committee President Joann Bennett. Mrs. Halfacre also serves as treasurer on the Depot Committee.
"We are glad to be a part of this project. We are proud of the Lions Club and the work they do in the community," Mrs. Caraway said.
"If there is anywhere your money is spend wisely it is at the park for the benefit of the children and the community," Mrs. Bennett said.
