Hattie Mae Chisam - Leachville

Hattie Mae Chisam, 86, of Leachville, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Protem, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Sam and Rosa Bell Whitaker and had been a Leachville resident for most of her life. She was the widow of Marion Chisam and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by two sons, Floyd Williams and James Williams, both of Leachville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Clayton.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Leachville Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Edge officiating. Burial was under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
