Mildred Kathlene "Kathy" Banks - Leachville

Mildred Kathlene "Kathy" Banks, 47, of Leachville died Saturday, March 9, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical center in Jonesboro. Born at Lafe, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Banks of the home; two sons, Mary Wyatt of Monette and Jonathan "Little Man" Banks of the home; a daughter, Alisha Wallace of Kennett; a brother Jimmy Louis Wyatt of Leesville, La.; two stepbrothers, Jerry Ivy and Jimmy Ivy, both of Kennett; a sister, Annette Smith of Kennett; and three grandchildren, Bethany Prince, Krystyn Wallace and Dawsyn Wallace.

She was preceded in death by a son, her parents and a stepsister.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Charles Avants officiating. Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke.
