Shirley Bronaugh announces plans to run for Justice of the Peace, District 11

Shirley Bronaugh, 611 Finch Street, Monette, announces her plans to run for District 11 Justice of the Peace, Craighead County Quorum Court Democratic nomination.

Bronaugh is a lifelong resident of Monette graduating from Monette High School. She retired in December 1996 as Senior Vice President of MidSouth Bank after 42 years in baking. She currently is a member of the Board of Directors, and serves as secretary of the Board.

She has served on the Monette City Council since 1997. She has served as a member of the Monette Memorial cemetery Board since 1959 still serving as Trustee of the Board. She is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Monette.

"I am interested in seeing improvements and growth in District 11. When elected, I will work with the County Judge and Quorum Court, city officials, and residents of this district. We need to continue road paving of rural roads, and help development in all of our communities," she said.
