Frank Edward Broadaway, 84, of Lake City died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Trumann, he was a lifetime resident of Trumann. He served n the Army during World War II, owned and operated Broadaway's Service Station and was a member of the Melton Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Carr of Trumann and Pat Qualls of Lake City; a son, Kenny Broadaway of Trumann; a brother, J.B. Broadaway of Trumann; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Caldwell Broadaway, his parents, James "Jim" and Ethel Day Broadaway, a brother, and a grandson.
A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
