Robert Francway - Lake City

Robert Francway, 89, of Lake City, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Forrest City, he lived in Leachville before moving to Lake City 54 years ago. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel Pennington Francway of the home; a sister, Emma Hanners of Jonesboro; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Log Cemetery with Brother Leon Harvey officiating with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
