Charles Edward Crabtree, 47, of Manila died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at his home. Born at Manila, he was the son of Charlesteen Meacham Crabtree and the late Edward Clay Crabtree. A lifelong resident of Manila, he was a graduate of Manila High School, a master electrician and member of the Manila Community Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the Manila Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Treta Ferguson Crabtree of Manila; a daughter, Candy Ann Brooks of Manila; his mother, Charlesteen Meacham Crabtree of Manila; a sister, Margaret Veach of Manila; two step-daughters, Laura Webb of Maumelle and Terri Bollinger of Jonesboro; a granddaughter, Destiny Brooks of Manila; and three step-grandchildren.
Services were 10 a.m. Monday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Rev. Michael Winberry officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery with Masonic rites provided by the Manila Masonic Lodge.
