H.B. Norman, 83, of Senath died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Regional Medical Center of Northeast Arkansas in Jonesboro. A graduate of Senath High School and Southeast Missouri State University, he taught and coached in Senath for 13 years. He was a farmer and was an agent with New York Life Insurance for more than 40 years.
Survivors include a son, John Norman of Jackson, Mo.; a daughter, JoAnn Norman of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Brandon Norman, Nathan Norman and Tyson Norman, all of Jackson, Henry Moore of Festus, Mo., and Joe Moore of Sikeston, Mo.; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clementine Caneer Norman, a daughter and a brother.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Senath with Rev. Gene West officiating. Burial was in Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Moore Jr., Henry Moore, Brandon Norman, Tyson Norman, Nathan Norman, Lester Hunter and Mardon Layne.
