Susie Bell Thomason, 88, of St. Louis, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at St. Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and lived in St. Louis since 1958, formerly of Monette.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Beaird of St. Louis, Joe Davis of West Memphis and Pat Thomason of Union City, Tenn.; two daughters, Peggy Griffith and Jerrie Siman, both of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dillard Thomason, her father and mother, William Henry Poe and Lewisa Christine Poe, five brothers and four sisters, and her first husband, Joseph Cecil Davis.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Glen Waring officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.
Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
