Hazel Higginbotham - Osceola

Hazel Higginbotham, 67, of Osceola, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, in Memphis. Born May 26, 1934, in Dell, she was the daughter of J.L. and Cecil Davis Wallace. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Cecil Wallace of Osceola; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Stan McPherson of Osceola, and Patricia and Jeff Clark of Manila; a brother, Joe Wallace of Osceola; a sister, Billie Sue Coley of Romulus, Mich., and three grandchildren, Brittany Clark, McKenzie Clark and Amy White.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Bill Higginbotham; a son, Donnie Higginbotham; and a sister, Crystal Gipson.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Logan "Doc" Perkins officiating. Burial was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
