Charles F. Boling - Manila

Charles Fred Boling, 58, of Manila died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, at his home. Born at Manila, he was the son of the late Hite and Eunice Boling. He was a retired farmer and lifelong Manila resident. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Laverne Lawrence Boling, of the home: a son, Eric Ray Boling, of Manila; a daughter, Fay Boling-Fisher, of Manila; a sister, Wilma "Midge" East, of Manila; four grandchildren, Blake, Sarah, Brandie and Dustin.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Michael Winberry officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jimmy Williams, Tony Crowell, J.R. King, Nelson Morris, Robbie Lawrence and John Piercy.

The family has asked that anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the Community United Methodist Church.
