Dorothy May Pollard - Lepanto

Dorothy May Pollard, 39, of Lepanto died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, in Marianna. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Pollard of Fordyce; three daughters, LaDonna Griffin of Washington, D.C., Bernice Copeland of Orlando, Fla., and Nicole Copeland of Athelstan; her parents, Charlotte and Jack Boyd of Athelstan; her grandparents, Lena and Kelvie Allred of Lepanto; two sisters, Charlotte Palmer of Athelstan and Janie Blanton of Osceola; two brothers, Jackie Boyd of Bondsville and Herbert Boyd of West Ridge; and two grandsons.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola with the Rev. Huey Mehurg officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
