Lucille Finch, 84, of Black Oak, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro She was a homemaker and member of Black Oak First Baptist Church. She had lived in Black Oak most of her life.
She is survived by four sons, Bill Finch of Paragould, Dennis Finch of Black Oak, Danny Finch of Jonesboro, and Alan Finch of Monette; two daughters, Freddie Lee Murphy of Caraway and Carolyn Finch of Black Oak; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Finch, seven brothers and two sisters.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Black Oak First Baptist Church with Dr. L.B. Atchison officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.
Active pallbearers were Bill Shirley, Paul Brown, Norman Williams, Jerry Nall, Larry Dunkerson and Rolland Gamble.
