Ronald Hatcher, 60, of Monette, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Monette and had lived there most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Hatcher, of the home; two daughters, Sherry and Paula Hatcher of Monette; his mother, Delia Hatcher of Monette; a half brother, Roy Chester Hatcher, Jr. of Florida; two sisters, Carletta Guiltner of Monette and Glenda Castro, of McAllen, Texas; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Hatcher, a son, Terry Lynn Hatcher, a sister, Joyce Harvey, and a brother, Eldon Dale Hatcher.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Hensley officiating. Burial was in Macey Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.
Active pallbearers were Dale Jenkins, Frank Guiltner, Sam Franks, Jack Franks, Thomas Franks, Larry Hensley, Daron Hensley and Bobby Minchue. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Castro, employees and former employees of Jonesboro Colson Caster tool room.
