Captola N. McMillin, 66, of Lake City died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, at her home. Born in Clay County, she lived in Rector before moving to Lake City in 1969. She worked in the Craighead County Sheriff Department's Eastern District office in Lake City for several years and attended the Nettleton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Stan McMillin of the home; three sons, Donnie Rickard and Ronnie Rickard, both of Jonesboro, and Jeff McMillin of Lake City, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Emerson's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Craig Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Ragsdale, Kent McDaniel, Kenny Qualls, Jeremy Rickard, John Varner and Clem Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. Dennis Parten, Bill Hook, Oliver Armstrong, Don Daniels, Kevin Baldridge and Leon Golden.
