Elzie Galloway, 67, of Madison Lake, Minn., formerly of Benton, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001.
A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Arkansas. Mankato Mortuary is handling local arrangements.
Galloway was born Sept. 28, 1933 in Leachville to Henry and S. Ida (Frost) Galloway. He was active and an elder at the House of Prayer in Chaffee, Mo. On July 23, 1973, he married Patricia Schabert in Brookings, S.D. From 1976-1991, they had lived in Janesville, Minn., where he had been employed with Brown Printing and Atlas Plastics.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Madison Lake, Minn.; a son, Charles Galloway of Manila; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Patrick More of Wells, Minn.; three stepchildren, David Flynn and wife, Paulina, of Mankato, Minn, Michael Flynn and wife, D. Christy of Benton, Mo.; Carrie Breland and husband, James, of Leachtkesville, Miss.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Galloway of Benton, Mo.; two sisters, Juanita Grubbs and husband, Hubert, of Benton, Mo., Lucille Goodlin and husband, Paul, of Corconcan, Calif; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
